A family run estate house dating back to 1696, nestled amongst 600 acres of parkland and woodland and situated on the Carlow/Wicklow border about an hour or so from Dublin, with striking panoramic views of the Wicklow Hills, Blackstairs Mountains and Mount Leinster.

The bedrooms offer an old fashioned grandeur with all the comforts while the Stables Courtyard provides ten double bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom quirky style. The Barn is at the heart of the Courtyard, providing a perfect space for small groups to come together.

The main house has seven individually period styled bedrooms, mostly with private bathroom.

The Stables Courtyard bedrooms are situated just a minutes walk from the studio and the house.

You won’t find televisions, radios, or minibars in our bedrooms. The unique and dramatically different bedrooms are tranquil and calm - ideal for sleeping well.

The Kitchen is run by owner Emily Bunbury, who takes great interest in nutrition and wholly believes in the power of food and how we should eat with the seasons, using organic ingredients from local suppliers and the Garden.

Menus are based around vegan and vegetarian food for breakfast lunch and dinner with homemade snacks and fruit available in between, along with drinks and a selection of organic teas and coffee.

Guests are invited to enjoy their food n the dining room around a large mahogany table and a fireplace that brings a huge sense of warmth.
